Employer Participation in the MNDCP

All Minnesota public entities may offer the MNDCP to its employees.

To begin offering the MNDCP, a Minnesota public entity must first complete a few forms. There is no cost to the employer in offering the MNDCP. To get started, contact your MSRS representative (pdf) or contact MSRS Payroll Support at 800-657-5757, extension 7729 or email payroll.support@msrs.us.

Employer must allow participation

According to Minnesota Statute 352.965, subd 2 & subd 3, at the request of an officer or employee, a Minnesota public employer must allow participation in the MNDCP. The employing unit must implement the request within forty-five days of the employee's request.
