According to Department of Labor (DOL) regulations, employee contributions must be segregated from the employer's general assets within a reasonable time period. The regulation does not specify what a reasonable time period might be; however, the regulation and the MNDCP Plan Document indicates that in no event shall the segregation date be later than the 15th business day of the month following the month the contribution was withheld.
